Composition for MSN

This composition is a variant of Kinetic composition with oil. In this case, the work’s idea is translated onto a specific space. I chose the yet unbuilt location of Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw as the realisation site. My proposition for the year 2020 is the arrangement of Monumentalna 3 gallery on the third floor.

As the main work is a multi-threaded composition – here reduction takes place. If you look through a magnifying glass, and expand this view to a monumental scale – we can see a space filled with matter, manifesting its properties. I’m creating an abstract space, where it itself creates the rules. I’m entering into a dialogue with the architecture, through the matter’s properties. Kinetic dominance is happening here in a more meaningful way than just vertically.
