Ivy DNA redesign

Tylko allows its customers to personalise every product, to meet individual’s needs and taste. Products don’t have a defined form, they represent a wide spectrum of possibilities, where every version is proportional and beautiful.

Along with the introduction of shelves wider than 240cm, it was necessary to redesign the shelf’s DNA – a formula, that ensures every combination is beautiful and functional.

Slant DNA has been completely redesigned with a new set of rules, allows configurations up to 450cm and with doors, there is 13 000 000 000 unique possible combinations. My task was to determine a new logic of elements’ distribution, design of their visual rhythms and look of particular width ranges. All of these changes were programmed using an in-house developed tool for visual programming.

Pattern DNA was also updated, and extended up to 450cm.
